Effective Date: September 2, 2026

Last Updated: September 2, 2026

These Terms of Service govern access to and use of StockAttic, including the web application at https://app.stockattic.com, mobile applications, member dashboards, research, market intelligence, educational content, watchlists, portfolio and research tools, alerts, community features, support features, APIs where enabled, AI-assisted analysis, and subscription features. StockAttic is provided by StockAttic Technologies LTD.

By creating an account, accessing StockAttic, using a mobile application, starting checkout, or using a paid or free feature, you agree to these Terms. If you use StockAttic on behalf of an organization, you represent that you are authorized to bind that organization.

Service Scope

StockAttic is a financial research, market intelligence, investment education, stock-analysis, portfolio/research, and subscription platform focused on investors interested in African and international financial markets.

StockAttic currently provides informational, research, education, analytics, simulated, and account-management features. StockAttic Technologies LTD is not described in these Terms as a broker, dealer, investment adviser, custodian, exchange, bank, money transmitter, clearing firm, or executing venue.

Certain transaction-related, wallet, funding, brokerage, import, paper-trading, or real-money trading features may be introduced, limited, tested, disabled, or made available through separate third-party financial service providers. If transaction-related functionality becomes available, it will be subject to additional terms, disclosures, eligibility checks, jurisdictional availability, KYC/AML requirements, provider agreements, and applicable law. StockAttic Technologies LTD is not the executing broker, custodian, clearing broker, or investment adviser unless that is expressly stated in separately approved terms for that service and is factually true.

Eligibility

You may use StockAttic only if you can form a binding agreement and may lawfully use the service in your location. StockAttic is not intended for children under 13. Users under the age of majority in their location may use StockAttic only with involvement and consent from a parent or legal guardian where required by applicable law.

You must not use StockAttic if you are prohibited from doing so under applicable sanctions, export-control, securities, consumer-protection, payment, or financial-services laws, or if StockAttic or a provider has restricted your account.

Accounts and Security

You must provide accurate account information and keep it current. You are responsible for protecting your password, email account, multi-factor authentication methods, recovery codes, devices, and session access. You are responsible for activity under your account unless the activity results from StockAttic's own security failure.

StockAttic may require email verification, password reset validation, MFA, device controls, session revocation, or additional identity review. StockAttic may suspend, restrict, or terminate accounts for suspected unauthorized access, abuse, fraud, nonpayment, provider risk, legal risk, security risk, or violation of these Terms.

Permitted Use and License

Subject to these Terms, StockAttic grants you a limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable license to access and use StockAttic for your own personal or internal business research and education purposes.

You may not copy, resell, commercially exploit, scrape, crawl, index, train models on, redistribute, publish, reverse engineer, decompile, bypass access controls for, or create competing datasets from StockAttic content, research, market data, AI outputs, software, APIs, or user interfaces except where StockAttic gives written permission or applicable law gives you a non-waivable right.

Financial Content

StockAttic content is provided for research, education, analytics, and informational purposes. It is not personalized investment, legal, tax, accounting, or financial planning advice. It is not a recommendation to buy, sell, hold, subscribe for, short, or otherwise transact in any security, asset, instrument, product, strategy, or market.

No fiduciary, advisory, brokerage, agency, or client relationship is created merely by using StockAttic. You are responsible for your own investment decisions and should consult appropriately qualified professionals where needed. You must review the Financial Disclaimer and Investment Risk Disclosure.

Market Data and Third-Party Information

Market data, company information, prices, charts, news, research inputs, and other information may come from third-party providers, public sources, user inputs, exchange sources, or StockAttic systems. Data may be delayed, incomplete, unavailable, inaccurate, corrected, or subject to provider restrictions. Displayed prices may differ from executable prices.

You may not commercially redistribute licensed or provider-supplied market data unless StockAttic and the relevant provider expressly permit it.

AI and Automated Analysis

StockAttic may provide AI-assisted, algorithmic, automated, or machine-generated analysis, explanations, summaries, classifications, research drafts, portfolio observations, stock-call context, or responses through features such as Ask Izzy.

AI and automated outputs may be incomplete, inaccurate, biased, outdated, unsuitable, or inconsistent with later market information. Unless a feature clearly states otherwise, AI output should not be treated as manually verified human research. You must not rely on AI output as the sole basis for an investment decision.

User Content and Community Features

You are responsible for content you submit, including community posts, comments, reports, support messages, files, prompts, feedback, and other materials. You keep the rights you hold in your content, but you grant StockAttic a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, process, display, reproduce, moderate, adapt for technical formatting, analyze for safety and compliance, and use your content as needed to operate, protect, and improve StockAttic.

You must follow the Acceptable Use, Community, and User-Generated Content Policy. StockAttic may remove, hide, restrict, preserve, or review content and may warn, suspend, or terminate users where appropriate.

Subscriptions, Billing, and Taxes

StockAttic may offer free and paid plans. Paid plans, prices, currencies, billing intervals, taxes, trials, promotional offers, checkout methods, and entitlements are displayed in the applicable checkout flow, native app store, or account interface. StockAttic does not hardcode prices in these Terms.

Subscriptions may renew automatically unless cancelled through the billing source that manages the subscription. Web subscriptions may be routed through configured payment providers such as Stripe, Paystack, Flutterwave, PayPal, SeerBit, Fincra, Kora, or manual payment workflows where enabled. Native mobile subscriptions may be managed through Apple App Store or Google Play Billing where enabled. Provider terms also apply.

You authorize StockAttic and its payment providers to charge applicable fees, taxes, renewal amounts, and other amounts shown at checkout or confirmed by the provider. Failed payments, chargebacks, disputes, refunds, cancellations, provider holds, app-store status changes, and fraud controls may affect access.

Mobile Applications

Mobile app use may require Apple App Store, Google Play, Expo, operating-system, device, and network services. App-store subscriptions, purchases, cancellations, restorations, and refunds may be managed by Apple or Google according to their terms and processes. StockAttic verifies eligible store transactions server-side before changing subscription entitlements.

Third-Party Services

StockAttic may use third-party providers for hosting, databases, payment processing, app-store billing, email, marketing communications, support, private file storage, video playback, push notifications, market data, AI services, analytics/traffic attribution, fraud prevention, security, and financial infrastructure. Third-party services may have separate terms, privacy practices, outages, eligibility rules, and geographic restrictions.

StockAttic is not responsible for third-party services except to the extent required by applicable law or a separate written agreement.

Availability, Changes, and Beta Features

StockAttic may change, suspend, limit, test, discontinue, or withdraw features, providers, markets, plans, prices, content, data sources, or integrations. Beta, sandbox, experimental, preview, paper-trading, or staged-release features may be incomplete, inaccurate, limited to selected users, or withdrawn at any time.

StockAttic does not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free availability, market-data continuity, AI output quality, notification delivery, video playback, provider availability, or support response time.

Intellectual Property

StockAttic Technologies LTD and its licensors own or license the StockAttic service, software, interfaces, design, trademarks, logos, research, reports, databases, compilations, documentation, and other protected materials. Except for the limited license granted to you, no rights are transferred.

You must not remove proprietary notices, misuse StockAttic marks, imply endorsement, or use StockAttic content outside permitted use.

Account Deletion, Retention, and Termination

You may request account deletion through supported account, mobile, or support workflows. Account deletion is separate from subscription cancellation and may not cancel subscriptions managed by a payment provider, Apple, or Google.

StockAttic may retain records where required or reasonably necessary for billing, tax, accounting, fraud prevention, chargebacks, disputes, security, audits, legal obligations, support, moderation, AI safety, backups, or service integrity. See the Account Data Retention and Deletion Policy and Privacy Policy.

StockAttic may terminate or restrict access if you violate these Terms, create risk, misuse the service, fail to pay, or if continued access would be unlawful or commercially impractical.

Electronic Communications

You consent to receive electronic communications from StockAttic, including account, security, billing, subscription, support, service, legal, and policy notices. Mandatory service communications may continue even if you opt out of optional marketing communications.

Disputes and Applicable Law

These Terms do not publish an unverified governing-law jurisdiction, registration number, regulator, registered office, or headquarters address. Disputes will be handled according to applicable law, mandatory consumer protections, and any additional written terms that lawfully apply to the specific product, provider, plan, or jurisdiction.

Before starting a formal dispute, please contact StockAttic through the support or legal contact method provided within the StockAttic service so the issue can be reviewed.

Disclaimers

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, StockAttic is provided on an as-is and as-available basis. StockAttic Technologies LTD disclaims warranties that the service, content, data, research, AI output, notifications, providers, or integrations will be accurate, complete, current, uninterrupted, secure, profitable, or suitable for your particular objectives.

Nothing in these Terms limits rights that cannot lawfully be limited.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, StockAttic Technologies LTD will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, punitive, or lost-profit damages, or for investment losses, market losses, data inaccuracies, provider outages, unavailable features, missed alerts, delayed data, AI errors, or unauthorized account activity not caused by StockAttic's own breach of duty.

Where liability cannot be excluded, StockAttic's liability is limited to the maximum extent allowed by applicable law.

Indemnity

To the extent permitted by applicable law, you agree to indemnify and hold harmless StockAttic Technologies LTD from claims, losses, liabilities, damages, costs, and expenses arising from your misuse of StockAttic, violation of these Terms, unlawful conduct, infringement, market manipulation, unauthorized redistribution of data or research, or user content.
