StockAttic Account Data Retention and Deletion Policy

Effective Date: September 2, 2026

Last Updated: September 2, 2026

This policy explains how StockAttic Technologies LTD handles account deletion and data retention for StockAttic accounts.

Account Deletion Requests

StockAttic users may request account deletion through supported mobile, account, or support workflows. The current mobile app includes an account deletion request flow. Web account deletion may be handled through authenticated support where available.

StockAttic may require identity verification and user confirmation before fulfilling a deletion request. If an open deletion request already exists, StockAttic may continue that existing request instead of creating a duplicate request.

Fulfillment Workflow

When a deletion request is fulfilled, StockAttic may:

  • Revoke active web sessions.
  • Revoke mobile bearer sessions.
  • Disable registered mobile devices.
  • Remove push tokens from mobile device records.
  • Suppress optional notifications.
  • Remove the account password hash.
  • Mark the account as deleted.
  • Anonymize or delete profile information where permitted.
  • Queue required account-status communications.
  • Record fulfillment and audit events.
  • Sync deletion status to marketing or email systems where enabled.

Data That May Be Retained

StockAttic may retain information where required or reasonably necessary for:

  • Billing, invoices, refunds, disputes, chargebacks, provider reconciliation, and payment records.
  • Tax, accounting, audit, and financial controls.
  • Fraud prevention, sanctions screening, abuse prevention, and security investigations.
  • Support tickets, support attachments, account deletion records, and user communications.
  • Community moderation, user reports, blocks, safety records, and policy enforcement.
  • AI safety reports, output reports, prompts or response metadata needed for investigation, compliance, or quality controls.
  • Legal claims, regulatory obligations, provider requirements, or law-enforcement requests.
  • Backups, logs, system integrity, disaster recovery, and operational continuity.

StockAttic does not publish fixed retention periods in this policy because approved retention periods are not verified in the repository. Retention may vary by data category, jurisdiction, provider, legal obligation, and operational need.

Subscription Cancellation Is Separate

Account deletion does not automatically cancel subscriptions managed by Apple, Google, payment providers, app stores, manual payment workflows, or external billing sources. You should review your subscription and cancel through the applicable billing source before deleting your account.

Provider Records

Some information is held by third-party providers such as payment processors, app stores, email providers, notification providers, storage/video providers, AI providers, market-data providers, or support providers. StockAttic can process deletion, correction, or restriction requests only for information it controls or can act on through the relevant provider relationship.

Legal Rights

Depending on your location and applicable law, you may have rights to request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability, objection, appeal, or other privacy actions. StockAttic will handle applicable requests according to the laws that apply to the relevant user and processing activity.
